ANSWER

The CT shows bilateral airspace disease, which is diffuse and heterogeneous, with some sparing peripherally and in the left upper lobe. It is difficult to comment on the interstitium due to the extent of the opacities.

The remainder of the history includes a family history that is negative for any lung, rheumatologic or immunodeficient disease. Parents are of French Canadian/Northern Italian descent, and both have had HIV testing within the last 5 years. Dad is known to be HIV negative; however, Mom's result was "inconclusive" and never repeated.
