Accreditation

This event is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and approved by the Canadian Thoracic Society. Delegates may claim a maximum of 17 hours for the conference (credits are automatically calculated).

The following Self-Assessment activities have been accredited for Section 3 credits:
• C5 – Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing Workshop
• C8 – Pediatric Clinical Cases
• C15 – Update in Lung Cancer: From Screening to Treatment

Those participated in Section 3 sessions will receive a followup email 4-6 weeks after the live session with post session questionnaire. Once completed, you will receive your certificate of attendance for that specific session.

Only those participated in live sessions will be eligible to claim credits.

Through an agreement between the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert Royal College MOC credits to AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Information on the process to convert Royal College MOC credit to AMA credit can be found at www.ama-assn.org/go/internationalcme.

Live educational activities recognized by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada as Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) are deemed by the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS) eligible for ECMEC®.

Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Please take a few minutes to complete session and general evaluations through the virtual conference platform and you will be directed to a Certificate of Attendance after completing the general evaluation.
