Technique: Meets reproducibility criteria. Although does not meet acceptability criteria because does not exhale for 6 seconds, adequate because reaches a plateau for >2sec.
Spirometry: F-V loop blunted on both expiration and inspiration. Normal FVC, moderately decreased FEV1 with similar decrease in FEV1/FVC ratio. PEF severely decreased.
Lung Volumes: Normal TLV andVC. RV/TLC ratio upper limit of normal.
Interpretation: moderate obstructive airflow limitation - shape of F-V loop and low PEF suggestive of fixed extrathoracic obstruction.
