We admitted him and repeated his pulmonary function tests as well as the chest CT.
The pulmonary function tests showed a total lung capacity of 62% predicted, FVC of 66%, FEV1 of 69% and an FEV1/FVC of 0.90.
The Chest CT was repeated and it basically showed some improvement in the interstitial pattern.
We thought that his evolving supplemental O2 requirements were out of keeping with the rest of his progress and respiratory picture.
