• We have a 9 yr girl with suspected HIV with respiratory failure and new pulmonary infiltrates. Our differential at that time included:
  • PCP pneumonia
  • Bacterial Pneumonia
    • positive staph aureus culture
  • Viral Pneumonia
  • Tuberculosis
    • Typical and atypical
  • Fungal pneumonia
