ANSWER:
Respiratory and metabolic acidosis.On
physical examination the patient was in respiratory distress.

On
auscultation breath sounds were absent over left hemithorax with decreased
breath sounds over right hemithorax.

Apical
cardiac impulse was shifted to the right.

There
were no murmurs.
–
Perfusion
was 2/3.
