PH 7.32, PCO2 39 mmHg
Urinanalysis: haemoglobinuria

Echocardiographic study demonstrated a small pericardial and pleural effusion.

At that moment, considering the rapid deterioration, it was felt that a rapid diagnosis was essential to her survival. She had increased respiratory distress and hypoxemia despite an FIO2 of 100% being delivered via a face mask.
