Dr. Janine Brown has academic credentials that include a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Saskatchewan, a Master of Science in Nursing from Norwich University, and a doctoral degree from the University of Saskatchewan, College of Medicine, Health Sciences program. She is an Assistant Professor at the University of Regina Faculty of Nursing. Her research areas include dignified, safe, end-of-life care practices for individuals with life-limiting illnesses, their families and health care providers, including research related to medical assistance in dying. She believes in staying curious, a relational nursing practice, and the power of kindness and humility.
