Dr. Maya De Zoysa was born in the United Kingdom but spent most of her life in Manitoba and Ontario. After completing medical school and respirology fellowship in Hamilton and internal medicine training in Ottawa, she moved to North Bay, Ontario. She has practiced in Sudbury, Sturgeon Falls and North Bay, and is currently the Staff Respirologist and General Internist for the West Nipissing General Hospital. She is also an Associate Professor for the Northern Ontario School of Medicine.
