Dr. Paul George is an assistant professor in the Département de biochimie, de microbiologie et de bio-informatique at Universitè Laval. His research interests focus on the impacts on anthropogenic change on microbial communities. In particular, this includes impacts of land use on biodiversity of soils and bioaerosols and the distribution of antimicrobial resistance genes. He is also interested in how aerosol exposure impacts environmental and human-associated microbial communities.
