Dr. Rachel Eddy is a Post-doctoral Fellow at the University of British Columbia Centre for Heart Lung Innovation (HLI), St. Paul’s Hospital and BC Children’s Hospital, as well as the Associate Director of the HLI MRI Core. She is a biomedical engineer by undergraduate training and completed her PhD in Medical Biophysics at Western University. Her research is focused on developing and applying novel tools to provide a deep understanding of obstructive lung disease. At UBC, Dr. Eddy has launched two new pulmonary MRI research programs with integrated oscillometry studies with teams at St. Paul’s Hospital and BC Children’s Hospital.
