Dyspnea is reported in a large proportion of people following COVID-19 infection. This presentation will review the evolving literature examining the potential pathophysiological mechanism(s) for the increased dyspnea observed in post-COVID-19 patients.

- Review the traditional pathophysiological mechanisms of dyspnea;
- Evaluate the current literature examining potential causes of dyspnea following COVID-19 infection; and
- Identify the ongoing work investigating potential therapies for post-COVID patients experiencing dyspnea.
