Accreditation
This event is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and approved by the Canadian Thoracic Society. Delegates may claim a maximum of 17.50 hours for the conference (credits are automatically calculated).
The following Self-Assessment activities have been accredited for Section 3 credits:
- C3 – Advanced Bronchoscopy in Pediatrics and Beyond
- C10 – If You’re Not Early, You’re Late: Screening for Pulmonary Fibrosis
- C14 – COPD: New and Upcoming Treatment Options for Canadians with Severe COPD
Those participated in Section 3 sessions will receive a follow up email 6-8 weeks after the live session with post session questionnaire. Once completed, you will receive your certificate of attendance for that specific session.
Through an agreement between the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert Royal College MOC credits to AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Information on the process to convert Royal College MOC credit to AMA credit can be found at https://edhub.ama-assn.org/pages/applications.
Live educational activities recognized by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada as Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) are deemed by the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS) eligible for ECMEC®.
Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Please take a few moments to complete the session evaluations, as well as the general conference evaluation where upon completion, you will be directed to a Certificate of Attendance.
