Membership Categories and Dues

  • Physician – Must hold a medical degree
  • Includes adult and pediatric respirologists, thoracic surgeons, internists, and other specialists and physicians with an interest in respiratory medicine
  • Print and online subscription to CTS journal: Canadian Journal of Respiratory, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine
  • Joint ERS Membership may be added for $55 plus applicable taxes
  • $369 (plus taxes) for one year

  • Basic or clinical scientist / researcher
  • Print and online subscription to CTS journal: Canadian Journal of Respiratory, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine
  • Joint ERS Membership may be added for $55 plus applicable taxes

  • Enrolled in a specialty residency training program (including respirology and pediatric) or a post-doctoral program

  • $99 (plus taxes) for one year

  • Have passed the specialty exam in respirology and are in their first two years of practice

  • Enrolled in a full time MD or PhD program
  • Online CTS Journal subscription included.  Print copy subscription may be added for $40

  • Member of a recognized clinically-based discipline (non-physician) – e.g. registered nurse, nurse practitioner, physiotherapist, respiratory therapist, pharmacist, cardio-pulmonary technologist, polysomnographic technologist, kinesiologist, dietician, occupational therapist, social worker, psychologist)
  • A primary role in education, patient care, research or management in respiratory care
  • Online CTS Journal subscription included.  Print copy subscription may be added for $40
  • Joint ERS Membership may be added for $55 plus applicable taxes

  • Retired Physician

  • Open to MDs and PhDs who are not Canadian citizens and who are living and working outside of Canada
  • Includes electronic subscription to the Canadian Journal of Respiratory, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine included, discounted registration to the Canadian Respiratory Conference, and access to online resources and tool
  • $249 for one year

  • Open to individuals who are not Canadian citizens and who are working in a recognized clinically-based discipline outside of Canada (e.g. registered nurse, nurse practitioner, physiotherapist, respiratory therapist, pharmacist, cardio-pulmonary technologist, polysomnographic technologist, kinesiologist, dietician, occupational therapist, social worker, psychologist)
  • Open to students who are not Canadian citizens/residents who are registered in a program outside of Canada to qualify to practice as a member of a clinically-based discipline (such as noted above)
  • Includes electronic subscription to the Canadian Journal of Respiratory, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine included, discounted registration to the Canadian Respiratory Conference, and access to online resources and tools
  • $59 for one year
