Copyright Permission Form

To utilize copyrighted material produced by the CTS, please complete a copyright permission form.

It is CTS policy to publish all works created under the auspices of the CTS in the Canadian Journal of Respiratory, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine, the official journal of the CTS, in order to retain copyright of key messages, recommendations and associated diagrams/figures and tables. This does not preclude publication of manuscripts in other journals in order to reach specific target groups; however, assembly members may not engage in negotiations with external publishers, submit, post, translate or reproduce manuscripts without prior written permission of the CTS Executive Committee/Board of Directors. Joint publishing initiatives must be approved by the CTS Executive Committee/Board of Directors and administered by authorized CTS staff.

As part of the new CTS Business Development model, authors must request permission from CTS to use official slide decks and any other materials diagrams/figures and tables from published materials for use in industry funded continued medical education activities.  CTS evaluates how our copyrighted materials are used by industry and our members to inform future KT practices and resources.
