Call for Poster Abstracts 2018-10-24T14:57:59+00:00

Call for Poster Abstracts – Abstract Submission is Closed!

Deadline for Submissions 23:00 EST, Monday, October 22, 2018

We welcome the submission of scientific abstracts presenting original research as well as those that have been presented recently at other conferences for our moderated poster session and unmoderated poster display. We are also interested in receiving thought-provoking case reports from clinicians, and abstracts from young investigators and respirology fellows or trainees.

Awards

The ‘Breathing as One’ Inspiration Award is presented by The Lung Association. This is an open poster competition for the best poster highlighting a newsworthy Canadian discovery in either basic or clinical respiratory research and communicating that research to a lay audience.

The CRHP Research Poster Award was created to highlight research capacity within the non-physician respiratory healthcare professional community. The competition is open to members of the Canadian Respiratory Health Professionals clinical assembly of the Canadian Thoracic Society. Those who wish to be considered for either award must indicate their interest on the submission form.

General Information

To be selected for presentation in our scientific poster session, abstracts must contain original data and meet international ethical and scientific standards. Poster submissions describing projects, training programs, interesting case reports, or other respiratory health initiatives will also be accepted, providing their subject matter is relevant to our diverse audience. If the research has been presented previously, a substantially different abstract must be submitted for this conference. Multiple abstracts submitted from a research group must be distinct in their research questions and present distinct results.
