International Membership
CTS welcomes individuals who are not Canadian citizens and who are living and working outside Canada as International Members (eg. MDs, PhDs, licensed healthcare professionals and students). International members may participate in CTS Assembly activities however they are not eligible to vote or to be elected to leadership positions. CTS member discounts are offered on the purchase of CTS programs, events and educational offerings.

International – MD/PhD Membership
- Open to MDs and PhDs who are not Canadian citizens and who are living and working outside of Canada

International – Respiratory Health Professionals and Students Membership
- Open to individuals who are not Canadian citizens and who are working in a recognized clinically-based discipline outside of Canada (e.g. registered nurse, nurse practitioner, physiotherapist, respiratory therapist, pharmacist, cardio-pulmonary technologist, polysomnographic technologist, kinesiologist, dietician, occupational therapist, social worker, psychologist)
- Open to students who are not Canadian citizens/residents who are registered in a program outside of Canada to qualify to practice as a member of a clinically-based discipline (such as noted above)
- Includes electronic subscription to the Canadian Journal of Respiratory, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine included, discounted registration to the Canadian Respiratory Conference, and access to online resources and tools
