Dr. Chris Pascoe is an Assistant Professor at the University of Manitoba in the Department of Physiology and Pathophysiology, working out of the Children’s Hospital Research Institute of Manitoba. His research team is broadly interested in understanding the pathophysiology of chronic lung disease. His two main research focuses are: 1) understanding how the environment, especially exposures in early life, alters the function of structural cells in the lung, influencing chronic lung disease risk in offspring; and 2) understanding how oxylipins regulate airway smooth muscle physiology. His research is currently funded by CIHR, NSERC, NFRF, and Research Manitoba.
