Dr. Pascal Laferrière-Langlois graduated from the Université de Sherbrooke in 2019 as an anesthetist. He then obtained a master’s degree in mathematics and industrial engineering from Polytechnique Montréal and completed a fellowship in bioinformatics research at the University of California at Los Angeles. He is currently a clinician scientist at Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont in Montréal and a Fonds de recherche du Québec research scholar. His research focus is AI and machine learning before and after surgery and in particular, pre-operative risk stratification and intraoperative hemodynamic monitoring.
