Dr. Paul Hernandez is a Respirologist and Head/Chief, Division of Respirology (Central Zone, Nova Scotia Health), Medical Director of Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program, and Professor of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Dalhousie University, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Thoracic Society. He is past chair of the adult Respirology Examination Board of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and past chair of CTS COPD Assembly. He is a lead author of the 2017 CTS Guideline ‘Pharmacotherapy in Patients with COPD’ and the 2019 and 2023 updates. His main clinical and research interests include COPD and pulmonary rehabilitation.
