HHT patients can present with dyspnea, hypoxemia and pulmonary vascular complications unrelated to the typical focal pulmonary AVMs in HHT. This presentation will review the approach to these symptoms in the context of underlying HHT, and their management.
Learning Objectives:
At the end of this presentation, attendees will be able to:
- Approach the work-up dyspnea in HHT patients;
- Recognize diffuse pulmonary AVMs and the challenges in their treatment; and
- Develop an approach to pulmonary vascular complications of HHT, including pulmonary hypertension and pulmonary embolism.
