Call for Poster Abstracts  – NOW OPEN!

Deadline for Submissions 23:00 EST, Monday, October 20, 2025

Join us April 16-18, 2026 in Calgary, AB for the 18th annual Canadian Respiratory Conference (CRC) – the premier national, inter-disciplinary educational and scientific meeting for the respiratory community in Canada!

We welcome the submission of scientific abstracts presenting original research as well as encore abstracts (those presented recently at other conferences but have strong relevance to our conference) for our moderated poster session and unmoderated poster display. We are also interested in receiving thought-provoking case reports from clinicians and abstracts from young investigators and respirology fellows or trainees.

GENERAL INFORMATION

To be selected, abstracts must contain original data (results) and meet international ethical and scientific standards. Poster submissions describing projects, training programs, interesting case reports, or other respiratory health initiatives may be accepted, providing their subject matter is relevant to our diverse audience and they provide data (results).

Moderated poster authors will be invited to present in an in-person poster session where authors briefly present their posters followed by a discussion led by a moderator. Authors must be available to participate at their scheduled time. Authors of posters accepted for the unmoderated poster display may be asked to be available for interaction with conference delegates at dedicated times but no formal presentations will occur.

All accepted abstracts presented at the conference, except for previously published encore abstracts, will be published in the Canadian Journal of Respiratory, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine and a link will be shared on the CRC website.
