Dr. Reshma Amin is the Director of the Sleep Medicine and Long-term Ventilation Programs at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada. She is also a Clinician-Investigator and Associate Professor at the University of Toronto in Toronto, Canada. She is lead author for the Canadian Guidelines for Pediatric Long-term Mechanical Ventilation at home. Her research focuses on improving the impact of LTV on the patient, the family and the health care system. She is currently leading a provincial randomized controlled trial to evaluate the impact of an eHealth app for children and adults transitioning home on long-term ventilation on health care utilization.
